Based on the iconic Fort Lewis uniform boot, the Fort Lewis Light is for those looking to stay a step ahead in hostile conditions. Though some 8 oz. lighter than the original, they are every bit as tough as evidenced by the expert grade construction and features used to build them. Rough- out full- grain leather and Cordura nylon protect you on the outside, while GORE- TEX and optional Thinsulate Ultra Insulation keep you comfortable on the inside.
Unstable situations require a stable boot. With stitchdown construction, Vibram soles, and weight-saving leather and nylon uppers, the Fort Lewis Light is a classic boot that's ready for anything.
Patterned after the Fort Lewis, but lighter due to its tear-resistant fabric panels, the USA-made Fort Lewis Light is just as tough. A rough-out full-grain leather and 1000 Denier nylon upper protects the outside of the foot. A GORE-TEX liner provides waterproof, breathable protection. Lace to toe gives better fit and support. Danner’s famous stitchdown construction gives the boot a more stable platform underfoot and superior durability.
