Based on the iconic Fort Lewis uniform boot, the Fort Lewis Light is for those looking to stay a step ahead in hostile conditions. Though some 8 oz. lighter than the original, they are every bit as tough as evidenced by the expert grade construction and features used to build them. Rough- out full- grain leather and Cordura nylon protect you on the outside, while GORE- TEX and optional Thinsulate Ultra Insulation keep you comfortable on the inside.
Unstable situations require a stable boot. With stitchdown construction, Vibram soles, and rough-out full-grain leather, the Fort Lewis Light is a classic boot that's ready for anything.
Patterned after the USA-made Fort Lewis, the Fort Lewis Light features a rough-out full-grain leather upper to protect the outside of the foot. GORE-TEX liners provide waterproof, breathable protection. Lace to toe gives better fit and support. Danner’s famous stitchdown construction gives the boot a more stable platform underfoot and superior durability. Features 400G Thinsulate Ultra Insulation.
